Eternal Practice! The Day Phil-san Died?

「永遠なれ！フィルさんが死んだ日？」

The party returns to Saillune after a long absence. Something's odd, though, and Amelia wants to know what's going on. The royal family tells her that Phil-san, her father (and, conveniently, the king), is dead. More accurately, he went on a horse ride, and something blew up in his path, and his body was never found. So Amelia's off worrying, and Lina tries to cheer her up by saying that they'll seek out the people who did this and kill 'em.

Just that moment, a mysterious stranger appears in the window, dressed in black with a big red X on his chest and a mask over his face. Zelgadiss bursts into the room and chases him off with a Flare Arrow or two, and the stranger flits off into the night.

The next day, the group heads out towards the area Phil disappeared. They are strangely attacked by a horde of Brass Demons. And who appears but the masked man in black? The demon swings a blast at the man's head, and he dodges, but not far enough to keep his mask from getting ripped off... it's Phil! He teams up with the group and helps take out all the demons... and then Lina starts getting a toothache from the reunion of Amelia with her father.
